We’re Back!

Did you miss us? We certainly missed you! After Reading Fringe Digital in 2020 and taking a pause last year, we could not be more excited to be returning in-person for the first time in three years. And just in time for our tenth birthday!

The last time we were live in Reading, back in summer 2019, ticket sales jumped 60% year-on-year for events as varied as an evening of protest-inspired soul, jazz & hip-hop at Reading Minster, a puppet bus on Broad Street, a silent disco at the Abbey Ruins, a clog dancing workshop and Conversations with Refugees.

Then in 2020 we went online for the first time, reaching some 13,000 households across six continents (only Antarctica missed out on our eclectic mix of comedy, drama, music & more) and even Swindon!

Now, 10 years after the very first Reading Fringe, we are back, in-person and online! Programming is underway applications are open for acts (with local and new-to-us artists of all stripes particularly encouraged) and venues across our wonderful town are being confirmed as we write. So please, save the dates of 28-30 October and prepare to be amused, buoyed, challenged, dazzled, entertained, fascinated and many other verbs.
