A World War, evacuated children, a woman with a secret and a beautiful stranger combine to become a radio drama told from a Brummie teddy bear’s perspective. Humphrey has had a colourful but comfortable existence till now….What an upheaval for him and Lucy to leave for Wales as war is nigh. Linking performers together in these locked-down times.

Oliver Hume plays Humphrey, the police sergeant and Constable Owen
Catherine Pugh plays Lucy, Dorothy and Lily (Sarah’s mum)
Valentine Hanson plays Joe and PC Jacobs
Natalie Wilcox plays Sarah and the other roles
