For the Love of an Old Chunk of Metal

Local photographer Leslee Barron has been documenting her love for Reading’s last, rusting gas tower, capturing its many moods. Leslee says: “I’ve been lucky enough to witness our last remaining gas tower, in its many atmospheric moods, as it stands proud at the bottom on my road. Hopefully, I’ve captured my love for this rusting chunk of urban architecture, through my digital paintings and photographs.”

Video with audio description by Roz Chalmers.

Join Leslee at the Live at Lunch – Archive and documentation through photography event.

Please note Leslee is raising money for Berkshire Women’s Aid so any donations go directly to them. Please follow the Artist Donation Link to donate.
