FRINGE FRIDAY: FOLK, FAMILY FUN & FUNNY FOLK

Day 8 of the most successful Fringe yet begins this morning with award-winning shadow puppetry My Shadow & Me at the VUE Cinema & Natalie’s Marvellous Mishmash of Musicals at the Penta, also the venue for  Bubbly Bubbles & Bubbly Maths this afternoon. This evening there’s comedy with Gerard Harris, A Special RelationshipPreet Singh & Lucas Jolson. The Trees Are Out To Get Meoffers a queer dystopian vision of the forests reclaiming the world & Total Eclipsetells a transformative story of love & loss. And Friday night is music night with free shows from Holly Shillito at the Oracle Beach Bar & ‘German Arctic Monkeys’ Parakeets at Purple Turtle – plus Conversations With Trees with folk stars Jackie Oates & Hannah James & jazz drummer Thomas Stronen.
