CONVERSATIONS WITH TREES
Friday 26 July, Reading Minster, 7pm

Inspired by our theme of Into the Woods and Beyond and created specially for Reading Fringe 2019, this unique concert combines folk music, jazz, clog-dancing and more. Curated by BBC Radio 3 Late Junction presenter Fiona Talkington, the evening promises an intriguing and thought-provoking magical musical adventure blending the traditions, poetry and legends of Britain and Norway. Alongside Fiona, performers include: jazz drummer and composer Thomas Strønen (Time Is A Blind Guide, FOOD); singer and fiddle player Jackie Oates (The Imagined Village, Rachel Unthank & The Winterset); singer, accordion player and champion clog dancer Hannah James (BBC Young Folk Awards, Kerfuffle); and author Helen Jukes (A Honeybee Heart Has Five Openings).
